  • Is there a policy for private tuitions?
    • Since the school follows a progressive and sophisticated methodology, external tuition and coaching classes are not advised. In the event you would like to send your child for external classes on any subject, we strongly urge you to discuss it with the school in advance.

  • Which classes do you give admission for?
    • Any grade with a vacancy except Grade- 10 and Grade-12 due to CIE exams that are conducted for these grades. Our aim is to limit the number of children in each class to 27.

  • Why do you restrict the number of children in each class?
    • To ensure each child gets the maximum possible attention. At Riverside, we practice 'Differentiated Instruction', which means your child's unique needs are taken care of in a way that suits him or her, and this is only possible if the Teacher-Student ratio is optimum.

  • What is your policy on withdrawal of a student?
    • Parents must inform the school one month in advance if they wish to withdraw their child from the school.

  • Why Cambridge Assessment International Education Board? (Formerly known as CIE board) The Cambridge International
    • Cambridge Assessment International Education Board (formerly, CIE board) is an internationally accredited board conducted by and administered by The University of Cambridge, England. The IGCSE Qualification is the most popular international assessment awarded to students at the end of the 10th grade. In fact, every year nearly 10,00,000 students from 10,000 schools across 160 countries prepare for the CAIE exams, making it one of the most universal international examinations in the world! The CIE provides over 70 subjects till grade 10th and over 55 subjects for the A & AS level exams. The ubiquity, diverse range of subjects and its structured and rigorous framework are some of the reasons that Riverside has chosen to opt for the CIE instead of other international boards.

Every year the school conducts an orientation program for new parents so that the parents may understand the complimentary activities and programs that they can use at home to augment their child's education, and also to introduce the various programs that the school offers with which a parent can actively take part in their child's life at school. In addition, the school also encourages parents to take classes or conduct workshops, assist teachers, offer student internship placements, planning field trips, and anything else that a parent might wish to do to further their child's growth. Teachers are available for consultation or discussion with a day's prior notice.
